About 3 weeks ago Cyndee, our GM @ LRI, asked me if I could donate some time to help the Triangle Lake Booster Club. Every year they put on a Chicken BBQ and Auction to raise money. The Booster Club at Triangle Lake does a lot for the students, especially because the school is so small and underfunded(138 kids K-12). I said sure thinking I was going to make some posters and what not. Well, about last Monday Cyndee came back to me and asked if I could help with a bigger project, the Powerpoint Presentation that goes along with the auction. I said sure, I was excited to help. Little did I know the exact proportion of the "time donation". I spent about 20 hours on it by Saturday night when my computer did not save and reverted to an earlier file, about 6.5 hours earlier. After being at the school from 9 am to 9 pm, I had to go home. I was definietly a little upset. Then I remembered what donating is to me, a real gift of love and patience. Something that is difficult feels much more rewarding in the end and is usually much more helpful. So, I calmed down and eventually fell asleep around midnight. Cyndee stayed and worked on it for a while Saturday night and I came back at 6 am on Sunday. The auction started at 1 pm and the show was finished!
The auction went off great. They raised about $14000 which goes to help all the sports at Triangle Lake continue.
Here's the crowd, the turnout was awesome! The whole gym was full!
My view of the stage. They auctioned off over 250 items!
It was a totally exhausting adventure, but well worth it. It makes me feel a lot better knowing the community and participating in it. I'm excited to help again next year and hopefully it will go a bit smoother!!
My love to you all!
My love to you all!

Good work sis, sounds like you helped a lot and made abig impact! I am proud of you, as usual :0)
Time is your most valuable assest.
Money can be earned and lost but each of us is given the same amount of time every day and to spend it on someone else is to sacrifice it on something worth while. The reward you are building is eternal.
Love Ya Amber.
