Finally, it's my Valentine's Day!

My husband, Leo, has been working so hard lately. He has been stepping up so much with the business. Since his parents have moved to Hawaii for most of the year Leo has been the main representative for the company during trade show season. I am extremely proud of him. Now, saying all that, I wish they could reschedule the Fall buying season so I could spend Valentine's Day with my honey! :) Every year he's either gone or we've been working together (12-14 hour days with business dinners, not exactly romantic.) I pick him up at 11:45 p.m. tonight and I finally get my Valentine's Day date! :) Yeah!

Aloha Hawaii

Leading this amazing life I am blessed with is sometimes overwhelming. I feel so lucky to have spent the last 2 weeks in Hawaii on the Big Island. I went with my sister-in-law, Lily and her soon to be husband Ben to help plan their upcoming wedding. Leo's parents are now living in Kukuihaele over half the year. They seem to be enjoying themselves and their house remodeling project is finally coming to an end. These are a few pics of the new house.

David laid this travertine tile on the lanai. It is really beautiful. This is the view, yes that is the ocean. They also have some land down on the pali (cliff). They plan on building their dreamhouse with this view.As you can see, even the view on a cloudy day is not bad. :) One of my favorite parts of the trip was all the whales we got to see. It was amazing!! A little hard to capture on film, but here's what I got.

Two females came to answer the giant whale that jumped , but of course I was so excited I missed the photo. Oh well! Speaking of wild animals , Dallas also got a new pet, a wild hawaiian pig. She found is wandering down the highway. We think it got some sort of eye infection and got lost from her family. Dallas cleaned her up and put some medicine in her eyes and now she's good as new. She is absolutely adorable and probably only a couple of weeks old. Her name is Hummer and Dallas is going to train her to pull her garden cart.
Here's a little movie of Hummer, David and Dallas. Sorry I forget that I'm not supposed to turn the camera. :) Whoops!

The locals told us these pigs get to be something like 600 lbs. Now that's a pet!!!
