Spirituality Personality?!?

What does "spirituality" look like? Does it have to look like anything? I often ask myself questions like these. I feel very "spiritual" though I am probably not classified as "religious". I feel I have a very close walk with God. I talk to God a lot and listen for his answers almost everyday. I don't attend a church, church has never been a place of comfort or belonging for me. I do have a major connected feeling with God when I'm hiking, like Ashley's whirlwind :), enjoying the beauty of creation, being thankful I am part of it. Being with family and friends or sharing a smile with a stranger walking down the street or at school. Is that enough? I know the Bible says we should fellowship with other Christians, but I don't really meet that many "Christians" who exude the loving and accepting energy I have connected with spirituality, and I definitely haven't found a church. Really, I'm happy with my connection to God and I feel overwhelmingly blessed with my life.

This all may sound very lofty and new age-ish or whatever, but Ashley writes about her feelings so I thought I would try it. Thanks for listening or, i guess, reading in this case.

My Daily Meditation: "Dear Lord, please guide and protect me. Let me be a radiant beacon of Your endless love and our endless gratitude.
- Amen"

My love and gratitude tatoos, they are in my own handwriting.

I am proud of you for sharing... I have an unwritten post about my journey that I haven't posted, it is a little revealing :0) I hope you don't get caught up by the "Christians" who are NOT following God's will in their lives. You have never been a follower so don't let them get in your way. There are SO many wonderfully loving, caring and encouraging Christians out there. I know you can find some to fellowship with be it at a church or not! The church is the people not the building.

I love you! See you tomorrow! and maybe I'll post my special post since you were brave and posted yours!

Amen, Ashley!! Being in nature is God's most awesome chapel! The church is simply a way for more to be accomplished in God's name - it is much easier for many to get the work done vs. one. Love you bunches - and your new do is great.....;0)
